“This is like a full circle moment, you know? Very meaningful for me,” she added.
Madonna also delivered a heartfelt message to her fans. “So, in all circumstances for the rest of the month, let’s try to get along, OK? Let’s try to avoid disagreements. And to that point, the great thing about music is that it brings people together,” she said.
She continued by emphasizing how music has the power to unite people. “I was thrilled to be a part of that healing experience, bringing people together,” she said. She concluded her remarks with four lines from her song Get Together from her 2005 album Confessions on the Dance Floor.
