I’m A Celebrity South Africa: No Plans for Third Series Amid Controversy
The popular reality show I’m A Celebrity South Africa has no current plans for a third series, according to recent reports. The show, which recently concluded its All Stars season, faced a number of challenges throughout the season, including allegations of bullying and heated conflicts between cast members.
This year’s edition saw several high-profile disputes, particularly between Adam Thomas, Jimmy Bullard, and David Haye. These tensions reached a boiling point during the live final, which was marked by chaos and emotional outbursts from the contestants.
Adam Thomas emerged as the winner, but his victory was overshadowed by the events that unfolded during the live finale. Jimmy Bullard accused Adam of being “abusive, aggressive, and intimidating” during an earlier pre-recorded episode. This accusation sparked a fiery exchange between the two, with Jimmy expressing his frustration over the situation.
David Haye also joined the fray, making further comments about Adam that reignited their ongoing feud. Despite the drama, the show did not announce any plans for a third series. A source close to the production told the Daily Mail that I’m A Celebrity South Africa is not an annual event. The first series aired in 2023, followed by a second series in 2026. There are currently no plans for a third series to air in 2027.

Hosts Struggle to Manage Chaos During Live Final
During the live finale, hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly found themselves in a difficult position as they tried to manage the escalating tensions among the contestants. Gemma Collins and Sinitta even stormed off stage in frustration at one point.
Jimmy Bullard had the opportunity to speak after Adam allegedly called him the “C-word” during a previous incident when the show was cut short. Jimmy admitted he had to leave the show for personal reasons and explained that he would not have received his full payment if he hadn’t said “I’m A Celebrity” during a challenge.
“I take full responsibility for my actions,” Jimmy said. “Emotions were definitely running high in that moment. I have nothing but love for Jimmy in that moment. I have apologised to Jimmy on numerous occasions and I do take everything that he is saying into account.”
Ant McPartlin defended the decision not to air the offensive language, stating that it was considered unbroadcastable. He also mentioned that he didn’t think Adam’s behavior was intimidating.

Adam Thomas Opens Up About Emotional Struggles
In a recent interview, Adam Thomas revealed that he has been receiving therapy following the intense experiences on the show. He described the feud with David Haye as something that “f***ed” with him emotionally.
Breaking down in tears, Adam shared his feelings about the situation, saying it felt like being back in school. “It wasn’t physical bullying or anything like that, but he was just mind f***ing me,” he said. “I just never stuck up for myself whilst I was in there.”
He added that the experience changed him significantly. “I’m not the same person as I was when I went into the jungle to when I came out. It’s changed me and that’s no over exaggeration.”
David Haye Continues to Make Controversial Comments
Despite the ongoing tension, David Haye has continued to make public remarks about Adam Thomas. He has taken swipes at him on social media and even claimed that Adam was paid between £20-25k per day for his appearance on the show.
David also sparked complaints from viewers when he made comments about Adam during the Termite Terror trial. Adam, who suffers from psoriatic arthritis, had informed his campmates that he did not feel well enough to compete.
