In a 2021 interview with PEOPLE, Holland shared his feelings about becoming a parent. When asked what he would be if he weren’t an actor, he responded with enthusiasm.
“I love kids. I can’t wait to be a dad—I can wait and I will, but I can’t wait!” he said. “If I’m at a wedding or a party, I’m always at the kids’ table hanging out. My dad’s been such a great role model for me. I think I’ve got that from him. So I think I’d be a primary school teacher or something like that.”
Holland also mentioned his desire to settle down and start a family in the same interview. For now, he remains focused on his acting career and is set to appear alongside Zendaya in both Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
