Honor 600 Pro leaks with smart secondary screen remote control

Honor has unveiled the Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro in global markets, and the company is now preparing to launch these models in China. However, the Chinese versions will feature a redesigned appearance and significantly larger batteries.

A recent leak from tipster Fixed Focus Digital suggests that the phones may come with a detachable secondary screen accessory. This accessory could attach magnetically to the back of the device and serve multiple functions. According to the tipster, it might act as a remote camera controller, a fill light, or even as a small secondary display for transferring photos and setting wallpapers. A blurred image shared by the tipster shows the attachment on the rear panel of the phone.

Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro Specifications

In global markets, both devices come with a 6.57-inch AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and boasts very high peak brightness. The Honor 600 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, while the Honor 600 Pro features the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.

The camera setup includes a 200MP main sensor and a 50MP front-facing camera on the standard model. The Pro version adds a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. Both models have a 7000mAh battery, although the European version may have a slightly smaller 6400mAh battery. The Pro also supports 50W wireless charging.

Battery Upgrades for the Chinese Market

According to another tipster, Smart Pikachu, the Chinese versions of the Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro are expected to have much larger batteries. The Honor 600 is said to feature an 8600mAh battery, while the Honor 600 Pro comes with an 8000mAh unit—both significantly larger than their global counterparts. The rest of the hardware specifications are likely to remain similar to the global models.

The Honor 600 will be available in China in 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB variants. It will come in four color options: Lucky Star, Obsidian Black, Light Feature Blue, and Green Apple.

Meanwhile, the Honor 600 Pro adds a 16GB/512GB model and offers the same color options as the standard version.

What to Expect Next

With the announcement of these new models, users can expect a range of updates and improvements tailored specifically for the Chinese market. The inclusion of a detachable secondary screen accessory is particularly intriguing, as it could enhance the user experience in various ways.

Honor’s decision to offer larger batteries in China highlights the company’s focus on meeting local consumer demands, especially regarding long-lasting performance. This move could position the Honor 600 series as a strong contender in the competitive smartphone market.

As more details emerge, tech enthusiasts and potential buyers will be closely watching for official announcements and further leaks.
