Britney Spears’ Inner Circle Worried for Her After Rehab Denial: ‘Answers Are Running Out’

Britney Spears’ inner circle is reportedly in crisis mode. Despite her representatives denying claims that she was carrying a knife and frightening people during a visit to a Los Angeles restaurant, an insider has suggested the denial is just a public facade. “People Are Running Out of Answers,” one source said, highlighting growing concerns about the singer’s well-being.

The situation has become even more concerning, as the alleged incident occurred shortly after her stay in rehab, which followed her March DUI arrest. According to an insider who spoke to Rob Shuter’s Substack, “People around Britney are exhausted, scared, and running out of answers.” The source added, “If this is how she behaves in public, imagine what happens behind closed doors.”

The insider revealed that the singer’s close circle had hoped that seeking help would finally lead her on a positive path, but they now fear things are worsening. This has led to increased anxiety among those closest to her.

As reported by OK!, prior to the restaurant outing, Spears, who is a mother of two and 44 years old, was seen purchasing alcohol just two weeks after leaving rehab. Initial reports claimed that the pop star was yelling and barking like a dog during dinner. She allegedly left the table in disarray and attempted to light a cigarette inside the restaurant.

One individual who claimed to have been seated near Spears during the incident described it as “a WILD experience.” They wrote on X, “She just left and everyone in the restaurant turned and started talking about it. An INSANE dining experience.” Another diner reportedly feared for her life, emphasizing that the situation was not a joke.

However, Spears’ representative denied the allegations, stating that the claims were being “completely blown out of proportion.” In a public statement, they said, “Britney was enjoying a quiet dinner with her assistant and bodyguard. She was simply telling the story about how her dog was barking at the neighbors.” The rep added, “At no point did she put anyone in danger with a knife. She was cutting her hamburger in half.”

They continued, “This constant attack on everything that she does and this is exactly what happened 20 years ago when the media tried to depict Britney as a bad person.” The statement concluded, “This is ridiculous and it needs to stop now.”

Earlier this year, when the author of Woman in Me was pulled over for swerving while driving in March, her manager, Cade Hudson, called the arrest “an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable.” He stated, “Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law, and hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life.”

Hudson also mentioned that her loved ones were planning to create an “overdue needed plan to set her up for success for her well-being.” Up until the May 13 reports, it seemed Spears was making progress, as she attended rehab — though she left early — and reconnected with her two sons, Jayden James, 19, and Sean Preston Federline, 20.

Earlier this month, the “Toxic” singer pleaded guilty to a “wet reckless” charge instead of a DUI, resulting in 12 months probation. She was also ordered to serve one day in jail, but it was credited as time served.
