The Superlative Squad: Real-Life Heroes Inspired by X-Men

When it comes to celebrating unique and extraordinary individuals, the Guinness World Records has always been at the forefront. In the 2018 edition of their book, they introduced the “Superlative Squad,” a group of remarkable people who embody the qualities of legendary comic book heroes. This year, in celebration of iconic characters like the X-Men and the final season of The Boys, we’re revisiting these incredible humans who have made their mark on the world.

The Human Spider

Who better to represent Spider-Man than Alain Robert from France? Known as the “French Spider-Man,” Alain has climbed over 121 buildings, including skyscrapers, since 1994. His daring feats include scaling The Torch Doha in 1 hour, 33 minutes, and 47 seconds and the Burj Khalifa in 6 hours, 13 minutes, and 55 seconds. His record-breaking climbs are nothing short of awe-inspiring.
