The 42-year-old star revealed that Duff was there for her during her first pregnancy, which took place in late 2020 and early 2021. During an upcoming appearance on Amanda Hirsch’s Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Moore spoke about how her bond with Duff deepened as they both navigated the challenges of motherhood. However, Moore emphasized that Duff played a key role in creating a supportive environment for new mothers during the pandemic.
Moore shared that Duff welcomed a group of new mothers into her circle during a time marked by lockdowns and uncertainty. She recalled how Duff organized baby classes at her home, providing a safe space for parents to connect and support each other. Moore explained:
“We started with like baby music class when our kids were like little blobs just lying on the grass. It was so much fun.”
Duff, who is the mother of four children, became a central figure in creating a sense of community among parents. Moore described how this network helped many families cope with the isolation and anxiety of the pandemic.
Moore also reflected on the broader challenges of becoming a parent during the height of the pandemic. She described the fear and confusion that many parents experienced, saying:
“It was feeling incredibly confusing and scary to be, like, pregnant during that strange time that gave us all PTSD.”
