Bridget Moynahan quietly praises Tom Brady as exes reunite for son Jack’s graduation

Bridget Moynahan and Tom Brady have shown a united front as they celebrated their son Jack’s high school graduation. The actress shared a series of photos on Instagram, highlighting the family’s joy and pride in their son’s achievement.

The post featured a photo of Bridget and Tom standing proudly beside Jack, who was dressed in his cap and gown. The image captured the couple’s warm smiles, showcasing their continued bond despite their past relationship.

In addition to the family photo, the carousel included a tender shot of Bridget and Jack together, as well as a lighthearted image of the actress kissing a cardboard cutout of her son at his graduation party.

Bridget captioned the post with a heartfelt message: “So proud of our boy Jack. We are all excited to see what you do next!”

Bridget also tagged both Tom and her husband Andrew Frankel, whom she has been married to since 2015. She added the hashtag #proudparents, emphasizing the shared responsibility of raising their son.

Although Bridget and Tom dated from 2003 to 2006, their relationship ended before she became pregnant. At the time, Tom had already moved on with Gisele Bundchen. Despite this, the couple has managed to co-parent successfully over the years.

Tom responded to Bridget’s post with a touching comment: “The most precious young man…❤️❤️❤️”

Other celebrities also joined in the celebration. Mandy Moore wrote, “Congrats Jack and mama!!!! ❤️❤️” while model Christy Turlington gushed, “Congratulations Jack and family. 🎓💫🍾”

Padma Lakshmi and Octavia Spencer also offered their congratulations.

Tom also shared his own post on Instagram, featuring a family photo of himself with Jack and his younger siblings, Benjamin and Vivian.

The images showed Jack holding his high school diploma, flanked by his brothers. Other photos included Tom and Bridget posing with their son, as well as family snapshots featuring Tom’s parents, Tom Brady Sr. and Galynn Brady.

In his caption, Tom expressed his deep pride in Jack. “One of the proudest days of my life, watching Jack walk across the stage, and graduate into the next chapter of what’s already an impressive life,” he wrote.

He went on to highlight Jack’s character, saying, “You are an amazing son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend amongst many other things.”

Tom reflected on the values he sees in his son: “What makes me happiest is knowing who you are when no one is watching. The way you show up for your friends. The way you check on people having a hard day. The love you give our family, and the fact that you still let me win in 1v1 every once in a while.”

He also shared his hopes for Jack’s future, stating, “This isn’t an ending. It’s a starting line. Whatever you chase next we know you’ll find success in. Take the risks. Be kind. Be yourself. And know your family and friends are always right behind you cheering the loudest because you do the same for everybody else! We love you. ❤️❤️❤️.”

Bridget has previously spoken about their co-parenting strategy. In 2019, she told People, “Tom and I made a decision to raise a child together, and we both found partners that not only supported us in raising that child, but also loved our child as if he was their own. I don’t think you can ask for more than that.”

Jack has expressed a dream of becoming a basketball player.

At the Fortune Global Forum in 2024, Tom shared some light-hearted comments about Jack. “Unfortunately he jumps as high as I do,” he said. “But I tell him, ‘Dude, you’re gonna be a stud.’ I said, ‘Wait till you hit your growth spurt, you’re gonna be jumping higher, you’re gonna be dunking.’ And whether he does or not, who cares? But I want him to know that his dad’s got his back.”

Tom emphasized the importance of being there for his children. “My kids naturally are gonna be faced with their own challenges, and they gotta figure out how to overcome them, too. And I’ll be there to support them a lot like my parents did. And I’ll be learning along the way right there with them.”

He concluded by stating his goal: “I try to be dependable and consistent for my kids.”
