Khloe & Kim Conquer Tokyo with Kids & Lewis

Khloé Kardashian Embraces Tokyo, While Kim and Kids Explore Digital Wonders

Khloé Kardashian, typically more of a homebody, has recently ventured out from her opulent $17 million Hidden Hills mansion for a family getaway to the bustling capital of Japan, Tokyo. Ever the devoted mum, she made sure her children, three-year-old Tatum Thompson and seven-year-old True Thompson, were right by her side for the adventure.

The reality star, who commands a massive following of 367.9 million across social media platforms, kept her updates from the trip relatively low-key. While she shared a few snapshots, including a heartwarming picture of herself with Tatum and True posing against the backdrop of a high-rise building – likely their hotel – detailed sightseeing accounts were scarce. The glimpses she did offer included the utilitarian doors of the Tokyo subway and a colourful display of salty instant ramen, sugary gummies, and various candies found at a local market.

Intriguingly, Khloé also shared the definition of the Japanese word “ukiyo,” which translates to the beautiful sentiment of “living in the moment detached from the bothers of life.” This philosophical musing perhaps reflects her mindset during this family escape. It’s worth noting that her ex-fiancé, Tristan Thompson, is set to celebrate their daughter True’s eighth birthday on April 12th.

Meanwhile, Tristan Thompson, the 35-year-old Canadian basketball player, was recently spotted in Washington D.C. at the White House press briefing room. His presence there was to advocate for college athletes to be compensated for their athletic endeavours.

Despite their on-again, off-again five-year relationship concluding in 2021, Khloé and Tristan reportedly still have two more frozen embryos – a boy and a girl – preserved. This fact often gets overlooked amidst the complexities of their past.

It’s a detail that often slips the public’s mind that the 35-year-old unsigned NBA centre’s first child, Prince Oliver, is now nine years old. Prince was five months old and his mother, Jordan Craig, was pregnant when Tristan began his relationship with Khloé, the founder of the Khloud brand, back in 2016. Tristan’s history has been marked by several cheating scandals that have put Khloé through considerable turmoil, including the secret fathering of his four-year-old son, Theo, with a third woman, Maralee Nichols.

Kim Kardashian’s Kids Dive into Digital Art and Samurai Skills

While Khloé focused on family moments and cultural reflections, her elder sister, Kim Kardashian, ensured her children were immersed in the vibrant experiences Tokyo has to offer. Although Khloé didn’t appear to visit the popular teamLab Borderless: MORI Building DIGITAL ART MUSEUM, Kim certainly made the most of it with her little ones.

The 45-year-old Skims Chief Creative Officer was seen posing in the museum’s immersive “faux-rain room” with her daughter Chicago, who is often described as her mini-me and is eight years old. Kim also shared footage of her sons, 10-year-old Saint and six-year-old Psalm, gleefully sliding down one of the museum’s innovative installations. Her eldest, 12-year-old daughter North, has been actively sharing her Tokyo adventures on TikTok throughout the week.

The half-Armenian beauty is a mother to four children, all welcomed during her six-year marriage to her third ex-husband, Kanye ‘Ye’ West. Their union concluded in 2021, and it’s reported that he provides $200,000 per month in child support.

Kim’s presence in Japan is also to support her boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton. The renowned British racing driver, aged 41, is competing in the 2026 Japanese Grand Prix, which is scheduled to take place from Friday to Sunday in Suzuka. Demonstrating his commitment to cultural immersion, Hamilton recently received a private lesson from the esteemed samurai artist, Tetsuro Shimaguchi.

The “All’s Fair” producer-star has known the 41-year-old British racing driver for over a decade. Their relationship became public at Super Bowl LX on February 8th. Prior to this official debut, they were reportedly seen together discreetly in various locations, including California, London, the Cotswolds, and Aspen, as far back as New Year’s Eve.

The Kardashian Empire Continues to Thrive

The Kardashian-Jenner family is currently dedicating significant effort to the production and filming of the eighth season of their popular Hulu reality spin-off, “The Kardashians.”

Beyond the filming commitments, Khloé continues to engage her audience through her Dear Media show, “Khloé in Wonder Land,” which airs new episodes every Wednesday on all major podcast platforms. She also remains a prominent figure in the fashion industry as the co-founder and owner of the clothing company Good American, even though her day-to-day involvement in the brand’s operations has lessened.
