Lori Loughlin’s Bold New Look and Personal Life Update
Lori Loughlin, known for her role in the iconic TV show Full House, recently made headlines with a dramatic hair transformation. At a recent event at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), she debuted a full layered bob with sassy long bangs, which sparked speculation among fans that she might be wearing a wig. However, her hairstylist, David Robert Naumann, has since confirmed that the change was genuine.
Naumann addressed the rumors on social media after a fan commented, “Cute– but it’s a wig,” on an Instagram post from Us Weekly. In response, he wrote, “It’s not a wig. I’d know ;)” accompanied by a heart emoji. He later shared more details about Loughlin’s new look on his own Instagram account, writing, “Chop chop for Lori yesterday.”
The actress, who is 61 years old, appeared almost unrecognizable at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art Opening Gala for the David Geffen Galleries on Thursday. She stunned in a shimmering silver gown with a high slit and a pair of stiletto heels that added a few inches to her height.

This makeover comes six months after Loughlin’s separation from her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, after nearly 28 years of marriage. Although they have not officially filed for divorce, they are living apart and taking a break from their relationship. Loughlin was joined by her daughters Isabella Rose, 27, and Olivia Jade, 26, who she shares with Giannulli.

Her youngest daughter, Olivia Jade, took to her Instagram stories on Friday to express her surprise at her mother’s appearance. Alongside a photo of herself with Loughlin at the star-studded event, she wrote, “How does my mother look like this?” The couple’s split reportedly followed the discovery of ‘incriminating’ texts and emails on Giannulli’s phone. A source told Page Six, “Truly, the tipping point came when Lori found a bunch of text messages.”
At the time, Loughlin’s representative told the Daily Mail, “They are living apart and taking a break from their marriage. There are no legal proceedings at this time.”
In January, it was revealed that the couple had been leading separate lives since the separation. A source told People, “Lori is still extremely angry with him,” while another insider stated that Giannulli “thinks she’s a lovely person and an incredible mom” and “wants everything resolved quietly.”
A source also shared how their daughters feel about their parents separating. “It’s obviously been tough, but Olivia and Bella aren’t taking sides. They both love their parents and just want them to be happy.” The insider added that there is “no resentment” and their daughters are “focused on keeping things peaceful and staying close as a family.”
In February, Giannulli was spotted with stylist Hannah Harrison for the third time during an outing in Sherman Oaks. The pair were first seen together in October of last year, and Harrison told Us Weekly that they were only “good friends” and met up at a store so she could pull clothes for his brand. “We were not there together [and] we are not dating. We are good friends. He was just meeting me at the store,” she said. Harrison added that both she and Giannulli had arrived and left the location separately.
However, that sighting was followed by a second meeting the following month at West Hollywood nightclub Zouk LA.
Two months after her separation from the fashion designer, the actress was spotted with a male TV executive in Los Angeles. The pair had lunch together, and representatives later told the Daily Mail that the man was “an executive at Starz.”
The estranged couple were previously caught up in the infamous school admissions scandal. They allegedly paid $500,000 in bribes to gain entry for their daughters into USC as recruits for the crew team, even though they didn’t actually play the sport. Loughlin served two months in prison and was fined $150,000 and ordered to complete 100 hours of community service. Giannulli spent five months behind bars and was fined $250,000 and ordered to complete 250 hours of community service.
