Sterling Shepard Embraces New Single Status at Stagecoach Festival
Sterling Shepard, the NFL wide receiver, has been seen enjoying his new single status as he joined the festivities at the Stagecoach festival over the weekend. The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers star was all smiles as he let loose in the Coachella Valley, California, shortly after ending his engagement to Carolyn Moore.
The couple had been together for over three years, and their relationship became public in March 2023 when they were spotted vacationing together in Turks & Caicos. Shepard proposed to Moore last year, but the engagement came to an end earlier this month on April 15. Moore announced the split just days before the Stagecoach festival, stating that she is focusing on herself and her son, Lion, who is from a previous relationship.
Despite the heartbreak, Shepard did not appear to be affected as he attended the country music festival. In photos shared on his Instagram, Shepard was seen showing off his toned arms in a white tank top and grey jeans, topped off with a baseball cap, sunglasses, and a navy neckerchief tied around his belt loops. He was captured laughing with members of his party, which included fellow NFL star Cooper DeJean, as he held a drink.
Shepard captioned the Instagram carousel with ‘#Stagecoach2026,’ suggesting that he is already looking forward to next year’s event. While the details of the breakup remain unclear, Moore took to social media to express her gratitude for the support she has received. She wrote, “Grateful for all the love + support of my [people], adding that she is “continuing to trust God with this next chapter.”
Shepard has not publicly commented on the breakup, leaving fans and followers speculating about what led to the split. However, the 32-year-old athlete seems to be moving forward with his life, making the most of his time at the festival.
A New Chapter for Shepard
This isn’t the first time Shepard has experienced a major life change. He was previously married to supermodel Chanel Iman, with whom he shares two daughters, Cali Clay and Cassie Snow. The couple finalized their divorce in April 2023 after Shepard filed for it in 2021 following five years of marriage.
Now, as he navigates life as a single man, Shepard’s focus appears to be on his career and personal well-being. However, his future in the NFL remains uncertain. It is currently unclear whether the Tampa Bay Buccaneers intend to re-sign him in free agency.
Last season, Shepard played in 13 games and caught 34 passes for 349 yards and a touchdown. He was a healthy scratch for the last four games of the regular season, raising questions about his role on the team.
