Delhi Capitals creates an unwanted record of the lowest ever powerplay score in the history of the Indian Premier League. This happened at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, where Delhi Capitals are facing Royal Challengers Bengaluru for the second time this season. In that match, DC suffered a disastrous start, losing 6 wickets in a row.
The team could manage only 13 runs, which broke the previous record of lowest PP score set by Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2022 against Rajasthan Royals.

| Score | Team (batting) | Opponent | Venue | Year |

Ironically, this stadium has witnessed the highest ever run chase in IPL history between DC and Punjab Kings, where the DC batter KL Rahul himself scored over 150 runs. However, today’s night witnessed all single-digit scores from the DC batters. RCB’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jos Hazlewood rattled down the DC batting lineup, taking three wickets each.
