Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s son, Knox, has been making headlines again, this time for a dramatic change in his appearance. The 17-year-old was spotted with a striking new hairstyle just days after he sparked comparisons to his famous father.
In the latest photos, which were shared by a news outlet, Knox sported a bright orange ’90s-style haircut. He was seen leaving a Muay Thai class on Monday, May 25, wearing a gray oversized T-shirt and black shorts with a tiger print. The short layers of his hair were dyed a vivid orange-red, marking a significant departure from his previous look.
This change comes after Knox recently drew attention for resembling Brad Pitt during a rare public appearance at his sister Zahara’s graduation from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. At that event, Knox made headlines with a dark hair color accented by frosted platinum tips, a style that Brad famously wore during his early 2000s heartthrob era.
The outing was attended by Knox’s older siblings—Maddox, 24, Pax, 22—and their mother, Angelina Jolie, 50. However, Brad Pitt was reportedly absent from the ceremony. The couple are also parents to Shiloh, 19, and Knox’s twin sister, Vivienne, 17.
The comparison between Brad and Knox quickly went viral, with many fans and critics noting the similarities. One user wrote on X: “You can see it in the jawline and the vibe… genetics did all the work. Zahara’s grad looks like a movie scene.” Another added: “Looks exactly like him that’s wild.” A third person commented: “Well Brad Pitt is his dad. It’s definitely there in the genes.”
Despite the family’s high-profile status, Brad has remained estranged from his six children since his 2016 split from Angelina Jolie. Reports suggest he has been trying to reconnect with his youngest children, twins Knox and Vivienne, ahead of their 17th birthday last July.
According to an insider, Brad “knows the chance…is remote to say the least,” but he is “desperate” for “one final shot to get together” with the teens. The actor was reportedly “devastated” when Shiloh dropped his surname in 2024, a move that she described as a clear message.
“He will always believe and always hope there is a chance to be back with all of them, and he doesn’t want to think otherwise,” said another insider. “He doesn’t want to give up, he’s not that kind of guy, he’s not that kind of father. He is a proud father, and he would be happy to have them see that eventually.”
