A Legacy of Music and Culture
The Queenscliff Music Festival isn’t just one of the country’s longest running music festivals, it remains one of the most highly respected. With a stellar line-up of artists always assembling in the Victorian town at the end of each year, it’s no wonder that this event continues to draw crowds from all over.
This will continue in 2026, when stacks of incredible acts drop by to be a part of its 28th instalment this November, proudly presented by Double J. The first announcement has landed today, packed with Aussie icons that will appeal to a broad gamut of music lovers.
Headliners and Rising Stars
Baker Boy has been setting the live stage alight on his most recent tour, and Queenscliff will provide him the perfect stage to show his huge fanbase just how epic his latest show has become. The legendary Peter Garrett and his band The Alter Egos promise to deliver a set drawing not just from the Midnight Oil frontman’s solo catalogue but also taking select moments from his 50+ year career in the game.
The latest album from Meg Mac is an absolute delight and the chance to see it come to life at Queenscliff is not an opportunity you’ll want to miss. And you don’t need us to tell you why immersing yourself in the glorious fuzz of Magic Dirt is always a good use of your time.
Industrious indie-pop lads Lime Cordiale, beloved Brisbane chanteuse Kate Miller-Heidke and viral folkster Steph Strings are all on board. While a few more of our favourite Aussie acts have snuck onto the line-up too, with former Double J Australian Artist of the Year Mia Dyson, young guns The Gnomes, dreamy newcomers Owelu Dreamhouse, folk rock icons Hussy Hicks and itinerant songman Jordie Lane all marking Queenscliff on their calendars for November.
