Upcoming IPL 2026 Match: Punjab Kings vs SunRisers Hyderabad
The Punjab Kings (PBKS) are set to face the SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in a crucial match of the IPL 2026 season at the New Chandigarh Stadium on Saturday, April 11. Led by Shreyas Iyer, PBKS is aiming for their third consecutive victory after securing wins against the Gujarat Titans and the Chennai Super Kings in their previous two games.
In their last completed match, PBKS allowed the Chennai Super Kings to score 209 runs, which has highlighted areas where the bowlers need to improve. However, they showed promise in their opening performance, where they dismissed two players from the Kolkata Knight Riders for just 25 runs before a rain interruption. Harshal Patel – A Threat to PBKS
Harshal Patel has a strong record against PBKS in the IPL. He has taken 16 wickets in 11 matches at an economy rate of 9.81, including two four-wicket hauls. In the previous season, he dismissed several key players, including Priyansh Arya, Shashank Singh, Glenn Maxwell, and Shreyas Iyer, finishing with figures of 4/42.
The 35-year-old bowler has taken 151 wickets in 121 IPL matches, maintaining an economy rate of 8.87. His best performance came with 5/27. In the last season, he claimed 16 wickets in 13 innings, maintaining an economy rate of 9.80. Harshal has proven himself as a reliable bowler who can perform effectively during both the powerplay and death overs, having taken 268 wickets in 219 T20 matches.
