Bautista Agut turned pro in 2005 and has earned over $20 million in prize money during his career. His best grand slam singles results were reaching the Australian Open quarter-finals and Wimbledon semi-finals in 2019.
Jamie Murray’s Immediate Retirement
In a separate announcement, Jamie Murray, the Scottish doubles specialist, has retired immediately after a 22-year career. As the younger brother of Andy Murray, Jamie achieved great success in doubles, becoming a former World No.1 and securing 34 ATP titles. He also won seven Grand Slam doubles titles, including two men’s and five mixed titles.
Murray’s achievements include winning the Australian and US Open men’s doubles titles in 2016 and the mixed titles at Wimbledon and the US Open in 2017. He also played a crucial role in helping Great Britain win the Davis Cup in 2015.
