I Will Find You: A Father’s Escape in Netflix’s Thriller

Australian superstar Sam Worthington is stepping away from the sci-fi world of Avatar to take on a new, emotionally charged crime thriller. This latest project promises to be a heart-wrenching experience for viewers, as it delves into themes of family, guilt, and redemption.

Based on Harlan Coben’s 2023 novel, the upcoming Netflix series I Will Find You has been described as a faithful adaptation that stays true to its source material while introducing unexpected twists along the way. The eight-episode limited series is set to captivate audiences with its intricate storytelling and powerful performances.

What is I Will Find You about?

I Will Find You follows David Burroughs (played by Sam Worthington), a man who is desperate to find his son after receiving evidence that suggests he may still be alive. The catch is that David is currently serving a life sentence for the supposed murder of his own son, Matthew.

In the trailer for the series, David is handed a photo of a boy who “looks just like Matthew,” which sparks his determination to break out of prison and uncover the truth. His journey will lead him through a web of secrets, lies, and dangerous alliances as he seeks justice for his family.

Who is in the cast of I Will Find You?

Sam Worthington, best known for his role in the James Cameron’s Avatar franchise, stars as David Burroughs, a grieving father who was wrongfully convicted of murdering his son. Despite his innocence, David spends years in prison before new evidence emerges that could change everything.

“David is searching for truths,” Sam said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “And in the melodramatic world of Harlan, he’s going to have to face many twists to get to it.”

Milo Ventimiglia, a three-time Emmy nominee, plays Hayden, a wealthy philanthropist whose resources can open doors to exclusive social circles. Britt Lower, known for her role in Severance, takes on the role of Rachel, David’s former sister-in-law and a determined reporter who joins forces with him to uncover the truth.

The supporting cast includes Madeleine Stowe, Erin Richards, and Jonathan Tucker, bringing a mix of seasoned and rising talent to the production.
