ASUS has launched a unique gaming mouse to commemorate the 20th anniversary of its Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand. The new product, named the ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20, was revealed at Computex Taipei 2026. This special edition combines high-performance features with an elegant design that appeals to collectors and gamers alike.
Premium Design With 24K Gold Accents
The anniversary edition is based on the ROG Harpe II Extreme, which was released in late 2025. However, it stands out with a semi-transparent black shell and a 24K gold-plated internal metal frame. ASUS has also added gold-colored side buttons, a gold scroll wheel, and gold-accented mouse feet.
A special engraving on the left mouse button reads “ROG 06 ←→ ∞,” symbolizing the brand’s milestone. Despite its luxurious build, the mouse weighs just 82g. To enhance performance, ASUS has incorporated Corning Gorilla Glass mouse feet for smoother movement and longer durability.
Built for Competitive Gaming
Inside the ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 lies ASUS’ AimPoint Pro 65K optical sensor. This advanced component supports up to 65,000 DPI, tracking speeds of 800 IPS, and 70G acceleration. The mouse uses ROG SpeedNova 8K wireless technology, offering an 8,000Hz polling rate and wireless latency as low as 0.2ms.
Additionally, it features ROG 100M optical switches, designed to last up to 100 million clicks. These components ensure that the mouse is suitable for even the most demanding competitive gaming scenarios.
Price and Availability
The ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 is priced at $259.99. It will be available for purchase starting June 2, 2026, through Best Buy and Newegg. Amazon and Micro Center will begin selling the mouse from July 19, 2026. ASUS has confirmed that this model will only be available until the end of 2026, as part of a limited production run to mark the anniversary.
