Coleen Rooney’s Luxury Shopping Spree and Birthday Preparations
Coleen Rooney, the wife of football legend Wayne Rooney, recently treated herself to a significant shopping trip at the Trafford Centre in Manchester. The 39-year-old WAG was spotted without her wedding ring, which has become a common sight during her outings. This particular visit was part of her preparations for an Easter weekend filled with celebrations.
Coleen, who will turn 40 on Friday, has been married to Wayne since 2008. Together, they are parents to four sons: Kai, 16, Klay, 12, Kit, 10, and eight-year-old Cass. During her shopping trip, she stocked up on new makeup products from Space NK and purchased some jewellery pieces from Astrid & Miyu. She also loaded up the boot of her black Range Rover with multiple bags from Waitrose and various luxury brands.
Coleen kept a low profile during her outing, stepping out in a Celine cap and sipping on a drink from Joe & The Juice. Her casual ensemble included black leggings paired with a black striped jumper. It’s not unusual for her to be seen without her wedding ring, especially during shopping trips and gym sessions.
Preparations for Coleen’s birthday have been underway for days, with a giant marquee installed in the front garden of their £20 million mansion. The milestone celebration is set to include a series of events leading up to her birthday. “I’m looking forward to it. I love a birthday and a celebration,” she told OK! magazine. “I have decided to enjoy a couple of different celebrations with family and friends over the year, and with my birthday falling over Easter weekend, some friends are away, so any opportunity to extend the celebrations.”
The couple’s vast home is believed to boast a snooker room, a home cinema, a wine cellar, and a football pitch, offering plenty of entertainment options for its occupants. Coleen and Wayne moved into the mansion five years ago, with the sports star reportedly splashing out £4 million for the 50 acres of old farmland in 2017.
The house is located in the famous Golden Triangle of land in the area, which incorporates some of the region’s smartest postcodes and plays host to plenty of football players, TV icons, and musicians.
Wednesday’s outing was not the first time this year that Coleen has stepped out without her wedding ring. Last month, she was seen without it after her husband, Wayne, was spotted partying with two mystery women at a pre-BRITs bash. Wayne was in Manchester ahead of the music event, where he was out until the early hours.
He could reportedly be seen struggling to hold up his trousers as he emerged from the toilets at the swanky hotel, where he was joined by a group of male pals that included pop star Calum Scott. In snaps obtained by The Sun, he could be seen drinking and “joking” with the women, which reportedly continued for two hours before leaving with one. The pair then got into separate cars around 3.25am.
After his wild weekend, Coleen then emerged in Cheshire the following week as she ran errands and did a Sainsbury’s shop.
