This spin-off brings together a fresh cast of comedians and features a lineup of high-profile hosts and performers. The Cast of SNL UK
The inaugural cast of SNL UK includes a diverse group of talented comedians. Among them are Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi, and Paddy Young. Episode 1 – 21 March
The premiere episode of SNL UK was hosted by Tina Fey, a familiar face to fans of the US version of the show. As a former cast member, writer, and host, Fey’s return to SNL is a significant moment for the series. The first musical performance of the season was delivered by the English rock band Wet Leg, setting the tone for the comedic sketches that followed.
Episode 2 – 28 March
The second episode featured Northern Irish actor Jamie Dornan as the host. Known for his roles in films such as Fifty Shades of Grey and Belfast, as well as the TV series The Fall, Dornan brought his charisma to the stage. The musical performer for this episode was the English rock band Wolf Alice, who recently won Group of the Year at the 2026 BRIT Awards.

Episode 3 – 4 April
British actor Riz Ahmed took over hosting duties for the third episode. Ahmed is renowned for his work in films like The Sound of Metal and The Night Of, as well as his short film The Long Goodbye, which won an Oscar in 2022. The performance for this episode was delivered by the English rock band Kasabian.

Episode 4 – 11 April
Jack Whitehall hosted the fourth episode of SNL UK. Whitehall, known for his stand-up comedy and appearances in shows like Bad Education and Fresh Meat, also hosted the 2026 BRIT Awards. The musical performer for this episode was Jorja Smith, adding a soulful touch to the night’s performances.
There will not be an episode on 18 April as the series takes a one-week break before the fifth episode airs on 25 April.

Episode 5 – 25 April
The fifth episode featured award-winning actor Nicola Coughlan, known for her roles in Bridgerton, Big Mood, and Derry Girls. Joining her was the nine-time SNL veteran band Foo Fighters, making their debut on SNL UK.

Episode 7 – 9 May

Episode 8 – 16 May
The final episode of the SNL UK series aired on 16 May, featuring Rwandan-Scottish BAFTA award-winning actor Ncuti Gatwa. Gatwa, known for his roles in Doctor Who, Sex Education, and Barbie, was joined by indie-pop singer-songwriter Holly Humberstone.
