Amid the growing demand for more house and electronic acts to perform on Aussie shores, CUPRA has two of our biggest homegrown talents in the industry taking to the decks.

Anna Lunoe and Memphis LK will headline the event, backed up by free-flowing drinks and a stellar menu of canapes from celebrity chef Miguel Maestre.

For those unfamiliar with the sounds of Lunoe and Memphis LK, let us introduce you.

Memphis LK is an Aussie producer, DJ and vocalist, and she gets her musical talents from someone who many would refer to as an Aussie icon.

She is the daughter of none other than Paul Kelly, so it’s no wonder she’s journeyed into the music industry herself.

Her music is probably best described as a mix of house, electronic and pop, with heavy influence from the nostalgic sounds of ’90s and ’00s music.

The vocals layered on her tracks are all her own, with a Billie Eilish-esque bedroom pop sound that gives her music an edge in the house music market.

Anne Lunoe is a globally renowned Aussie DJ, producer and radio host.

In 2016, she made history as the first solo female act to perform on the main stage at Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), one of the biggest – if not the biggest – music events on the worldwide electronic scene.

She’s played other major festivals, including Coachella, has toured globally, and boasts more than half a million monthly listeners on Spotify.

In 2015, Lunoe was approached by music industry legend Zane Lowe to work with other artists such as Elton John and Drake to help launch Apple Music.

Since then, she has hosted her own weekly program titled Anna Lunoe Presents: HYPERHOUSE each Friday, helping to showcase new electronic and dance acts around the world.

Memphis LK and Lunoe will both be performing at the upcoming launch of the CUPRA Formentor range at Sydney’s Machine Hall on June 18. Nine.com.au is the media partner for the launch.
