“She takes piano lessons, she takes a vocal lesson every Saturday and then she was in the school musical, she played young Nala in The Lion King and she really loves to sing,” John said.
Beyond music, Luna is also creatively inclined. She enjoys dancing and has a talent for visual creativity, including drawing and building structures. John shared how she once built a dollhouse for his youngest daughter using cardboard boxes, showing her innovative spirit.
Encouraging Creativity in Their Children
John expressed how he and Chrissy strive to encourage their children to explore various artistic pursuits. “Both me and their mother are very creative and we love music so we just try to encourage them to explore and try different things and be as creative as possible,” he said.

During the same conversation, John opened up about how Chrissy reacted when she first heard his hit song, “All Of Me.” He recalled, “I sang it to her quietly, I was like I want you to hear this song, I just wrote it for you, we were engaged at the time, she cried the first time she heard it.”
While he laughed about how the reaction isn’t always as emotional now, the song remains a heartfelt tribute to their love story. It’s a testament to the deep connection between John and Chrissy, which has only grown stronger over the years.
