In France, there is a popular belief that eating cheese before bed can lead to wild and vivid dreams. However, recent scientific research suggests that the content of our dreams is not influenced by what we eat, but rather by a combination of personality traits, emotions, and life experiences.

Advanced natural language processing (NLP), a type of artificial intelligence, was used to analyze how participants described their lives and dreams. This innovative approach allowed researchers to identify patterns that were previously difficult to detect.

For example, individuals who tend to jump between unrelated thoughts during the day often reported dreams that felt scattered and disjointed. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, many people reported more intense dreams, often focusing on themes of restriction and confinement. As life gradually returned to normal, these patterns began to fade, indicating that dreams evolve alongside our psychological state.
