The Rolling Stones hint at new music release in

The Rolling Stones have sparked a wave of excitement among their loyal fanbase with a mysterious Instagram post that strongly suggests the release of new music. The iconic rock band shared a 13-second video on Friday, which has already attracted thousands of likes and comments from their 4.2 million followers. The clip features the band’s famous tongue and lips logo set against a dynamic background filled with letters, words, and symbols.

What makes this post even more intriguing is the short snippet of an unknown song playing in the background. Additionally, the caption of the post only contains two emojis, one of which is a CD, leading fans to speculate that a new album might be on the way.

This recent social media activity comes as fans continue to hear whispers about the band preparing to unveil a new album. Last week, the Rolling Stones teased the title of the upcoming record by sharing a series of images showing billboards around the world, including locations like Sydney, Australia, and Paris, France. These billboards feature the Rolling Stones logo and the same phrase repeated in various languages, suggesting that the new album could be titled Foreign Tongues. If released, it would mark their first studio effort since their 2023 Grammy Award-winning album, Hackney Diamonds.

The first hints of new material appeared last month when a series of enigmatic posters and QR codes linked to “The Cockroaches” started appearing across London. It is believed that these are connected to the Rolling Stones. The band has also reportedly released music and performed gigs under the pseudonym The Cockroaches, with teaser videos shared on their Instagram account.

The Cockroaches later released a limited-edition vinyl single titled Rough And Twisted on April 11, which was reportedly only sold at independent record stores.

Formed in London in 1962, The Rolling Stones have a long history of producing chart-topping albums and number one singles, including hits such as (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction, Paint It Black, and Start Me Up. Over the years, the band has had several members, but its current line-up consists of Sir Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood.

After the passing of long-serving member Charlie Watts in August 2021 at the age of 80, musician Steve Jordan took over as the group’s drummer. At the time of Watts’ death, the band paid tribute to him on social media, calling him “one of the greatest drummers of his generation.”

The Rolling Stones were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1989. Throughout their decades-long career, they have achieved 14 UK number one albums and eight number one hits.
