New Life and Love: Jessamy Stoddart’s Journey Through Motherhood and Marriage
Jessamy Stoddart, best known for her role as Liberty Savage on the popular soap opera Hollyoaks, has recently shared the joy of welcoming her second child into the world. The 32-year-old actress took a break from her television role to focus on her growing family, and on Monday she announced the birth of her daughter with husband Ryan.
Jessamy shared a series of radiant photos of herself cradling her newborn daughter, accompanied by an emotional message. She wrote, “She’s here. All 9lb 6 of her. I got the VBAC water birth of my dreams & it was EUPHORIC ✨ I feel like I won the midwife lottery & had the unwavering support of Ryan, as always. Floating on clouds right now with my two little ladies.”

This news comes just days after viewers saw Jessamy’s character, Liberty Savage, leave the Hollyoaks village for a new life in New Zealand. However, it is expected that Jessamy will return to the show after her maternity leave.
Jessamy and Ryan, who married in 2021, are already parents to their daughter Joni, born in January 2023. Earlier this year, Jessamy shared the news of her second pregnancy, posting a photo of a bauble on a Christmas tree engraved with “Baby O’Gorman. Due May 2026.” Friends and fellow actors in the show took to social media to congratulate the couple.
Jessamy first revealed her pregnancy in December, sharing a photo of her growing bump on Instagram. She wrote, “So incredibly lucky to be growing a little brother or sister for Joni.” At the time, she also shared a picture of the bauble, which hinted at the arrival of their second child.

Jessamy and Ryan’s wedding in November 2021 was a winter wonderland affair, held at Iscoyd Park in North Wales. Ryan proposed to Jessamy in December 2020, and the couple celebrated their union with a romantic ceremony filled with snow, love, and stunning photographs.
Jessamy wore an elegant ivory high neck bridal gown with puff semi-sheer sleeves, while Ryan looked dapper in a black suit and white shirt. They exchanged vows in a picturesque outdoor setting, and later danced under twinkling lights at their reception.
