Hailey Bieber’s Vintage Look and the Rise of Her Beauty Brand
Hailey Bieber has always been known for her bold fashion choices, but there’s one surprising detail about her latest outfit that many might not have expected. While celebrating the launch of her brand Rhode at Sephora in New York City, the 28-year-old stunned fans with a silver Donna Karan co-ord. The ensemble included a short box skirt and a plunging shirt, which she paired with stylish sunglasses and a neat bun to give it a modern twist.
What makes this look even more interesting is that the outfit is actually a vintage piece from 1996. That means the clothing is just as old as Hailey herself. The model and wife of megastar singer Justin Bieber is also the face of DKNY, a brand created by Donna Karan back in 1989.
A Year of Success for Hailey Bieber
This year has been a significant one for Hailey Bieber and her beauty company, Rhode. Three months ago, she sold the brand in a massive $1 billion deal. The partnership with E.l.f. Beauty marks a new chapter for the company, and Hailey expressed her excitement about the collaboration on her Instagram account, which has over 54.9 million followers.
“When I launched [Rhode] in 2022, I always had big dreams for the company, and the most important thing to me is to keep bringing rhode to more spaces, places, and faces globally,” she wrote in a detailed post. “So today I am so incredibly excited and proud to announce that we are partnering with e.l.f. Beauty as we step into this next chapter in the world of rhode.”
The model explained that E.l.f. Beauty shares her vision for innovation and big ideas, which will help continue growing the brand. She also mentioned her new role as Chief Creative Officer and Head of Innovation of Rhode, as well as a strategic advisor to E.l.f. Beauty. “I feel invigorated, excited and more ready than ever to step into an even bigger role,” she said.
Hailey also thanked her team and supporters for their continued help and encouragement. “As I’ve said, this is only the beginning,” she concluded.
Her husband, singer Justin Bieber, shared the news on his own Instagram grid, showing his support for his wife’s achievements.
The Details of the $1 Billion Deal
The $1 billion deal was announced in a press release by Business Wire. According to the release, the transaction includes $800 million in cash and stock, along with an additional $200 million in potential earnout based on the brand’s growth over three years.
Despite the success, Rhode is not currently available in Australia. However, Hailey remains optimistic about the brand’s future.
Reflections on Success
In a recent cover interview with Vogue, Hailey admitted she never expected her brand to grow so quickly. “In my wildest dreams, it’s already gone beyond what I would’ve hoped for,” she said.
This journey has been a testament to her hard work and dedication, and it seems like the best is yet to come for Hailey Bieber and her company.
